Valpovo

Valpovo grew up around the Prandau-Normann castle, with a medieval tower at its heart, and around it lies one of the largest parks in Slavonia. The town is quiet, green and close to the Drava.

In summer the Valpovačko ljeto festival brings folk ensembles from all over Croatia; the rest of the year the castle and park belong to walkers.
