Donji Miholjac

Donji Miholjac is a small town on the Drava, right on the Hungarian border. It has two castles, Prandau and Mailáth, and the park around them, and the river and its backwaters matter far more here than traffic.

In September the town cooks fiš paprikaš at its fišijada, and the Drava's anglers know where the best carp are.
